Before I came to the US I had a lot of doubts and fears about life here, away from family and friends. Also, I did not know how I would manage with my studies and language. Now, after a short period of time, I can say I made the right choice to get here I have the opportunity to meet amazing people from all over the world and learn about different cultures, plus I have the opportunity to get some help that I just need in order to succeed in school.
The sports facilities – fitness rooms, treatment rooms and soccer fileds are of the highest standard. And the training team and medical staff are very professional and are always looking to contribute and help players get better. I could not ask for more.

The choice to move to the United States was not an easy choice at all. Leaving family and friends in Israel and especially everything I have become accustomed to and built in the world of football. And now after a period here, I do not regret it, even for a second. The conditions here are insane and the coaching staff do everything to help me be the best player I can be, while studying and getting a degree, which is the big bonus here.
I will say this again, even though I had the opportunity to play at a high level in Israel, I chose to come here and I do not regret it for a second. From here, there are options to go to higher levels than in Israel.

Throughout my time as a football player, my dream has been to play in the best conditions and experience the professionalism required to be successful. Before I came to the US, I had a lot of concerns about whether this was the step I needed to take, to upgrade myself as a footballer and in the end when I went for it and I experience it, I felt that I am improving as an athlete and as a person. I stepped out of my comfort zone and embarked on a journey that everyone dreams of. All the staff here make sure you get all the help to get better as a footballer and as a student. The facilities and training here are at the highest level and of course the degree, the most important key to the future.

My choice to play soccer and get an education in the United States was one of the important decisions I have made so far in my life. As a soccer player with a dream, you want the best of the best in order to achieve your goals. Whether it be from an academic or athletic stand point. Coming to the U.S got me just that. The facilities, level of play and competition are top level and something that I had been dreaming about since I was a child. It wasn’t easy to leave my family, friends, and whole life behind, but the opportunity to get out of my comfort zone was one I will never forget. Also, experiencing life as a student athlete is another amazing opportunity that will prepare me for real life after college and help me become a better soccer player, better person and just better version of myself.

I can say that this step is the right step I have taken in my life. There is a clear difference between the length of life of an athlete in Israel and the United States and this can only be understood after a period here as a student and as a football player. It is hard to believe that this privilege is true at all. I remember coming to university for the first time, putting on sneakers and going for a run on campus. I could not believe I had four years in this crazy place. For several months now I have been waking up in the morning with a smile and can not wait to start the day that awaits me.

The transition to college in the United States is the biggest and most meaningful step in my life. A step that turned out to be the best for me. This transition led me to understand that I can do anything. It is not easy to leave your family and friends at home, but when I came here, I met lifelong friends from different cultures, that have become like family. The combination of soccer and school is amazing. I get the best conditions for success, not like in Israel. I’m living the dream!
